since the mini-lecture mainly focuses on enhancing students speaking skill,therefore,it adopts the tasked-based language teaching and communicative language teaching methodologies. during the lecture,the teacher should try to reduce her talking time and maximize students talking time.
in terms of the teaching aims,the students will practice how to describe garments through a listening activity and leveled speaking exercises. the mini-lecture will also enhance their communicative competence as well as their linguistic proficiency in target language.moreover,the mini-lecture will develop their critical thinking and build up their confidence step by step.
