this is a very wonderful class, actually. as is known to all, confucianism is profound and is hard to understand even for our chinese, let alone the foreigners. however, professor jing's class makes it much easy to catch the main idea of the confucius view of junsi. so i really appreciate it.

the structure of this class is really clear. the comparative studies make me have a deeper understanding of “junzi” and gentleman. professor jiang’s clear thinking has aroused our curiosity and interest in confucius culture. and as an english major, i think it’s important for us to transmit chinese traditional culture to the world, especially the confucius culture which has a lot of philosophical significance. i think the topic of this class is original and the study is really meaningful. after watching this video, i’m eager to learn more about confucius culture and to make some comparative studies in the way this lecture has taught me.
