i firmly believe this is a marvellous lecture and ms jiang is a professor who masters both chinese and western culture. in this lecture, she combines and compare confucious' opinions with western culture.besides, we audience can also hear some foreigners' ideas about the difference between chienese and western culture. gorgeous!!

the expression is simple and clear to be understood. it brings us to consider confuicus' views on junzi.in my opinion, its a good choice to choose such interesting and meaningful topic.

早在文革时期，“绅士”就被引入中国；但是中国的“君子”最近才开始传播。在有些情况下，中国的“君子”会被翻译成“绅士”，但是“君子”和“绅士”在本质上是不同的，这种翻译是不恰当的。江老师用英语向我们阐释孔子的“君子”观，让我们更加深入了解君子，同时也对“君子”和“绅士”有了了解，引导我们如何做“君子”与“绅士”的对比。

i have to admit that this lecture has challenged my stereotype of junzi and gentleman being two similar concepts.

i learn a lot from the lecture,especially the differences between gentleman and junzi. it is quite inspiring and thoughtprovoking.thanks a lot:)

in my view, this course is relatively difficult to teach than others since it is regarding not only english language but also chinese culture.besides, the students mostly are foreign students, it is better to teach the course in a comprehensible not very complicated , that is ,to figure out the essence of the course and make it clear and systematic to understand , in terms of this , i think, the teacher did quite well! since the contents in the course are well organized based on the understanding her interpretation of junzi. in all, what i want to say is that all the courses should bear it in mind: it is used to teach others or share the ideas therefore it should have the clear insight and be easy to access, in this aspect , i do appreciate teacher zhang's course.
